Description

Harden Bridge is a former road bridge, now gated, likely built in the mid-18th century and widened around 1840. The bridge is constructed of ashlar and features two spans with segmental arches. On the upstream side, it has a raked plinth on both banks and recessed voussoirs, along with triangular cutwaters. The parapet includes seven pilasters and has coping. The downstream side was widened using slightly taller arches.
