Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of slobbered rubble with stone dressings and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a double front. The central entrance has a plain surround on a square base, with a five-panel door that has a glazed top panel. A 20th-century timber hood is supported by timber consoles above the door. Each storey has three-light flat-faced mullioned windows, which have been replaced with 20th-century casements. The cottage has a gable end on the right and a ridge stack on the left.
