Description
The former chancel of Bremilham Church, now an Anglican chapel, dates back to the 15th century and was refenestrated around 1850. It is constructed from coursed rubble with flush rusticated dressed stone quoins, ashlar dressings, and a stone slate roof. This building is a single cell from what was originally a two-cell church. It features two round-headed lights with hoodmoulds on the south and east faces, and a west doorway with a pointed arch that has a plank door. There is also a west round-arched gabled bellcote. Inside, the chapel has an open rafter roof, a 15th-century font with quatrefoil panels, a bell from 1729 that originally came from Foxley Church, and mid-19th century wall monuments on the north and south walls.
