Description

ROWDE HIGH STREET ST 9762 11/248 Laing monument in churchyard about 35m south-east of chancel of Church of St Matthew GV II Chest tomb, early C19, ashlar with north side large oval plaque with relief carved branches draped over and drapery drop each side. Quarter-column angles. Moulded base and cornice with fluted frieze, set back over angles. South side has two plaques and paired husk drop centre. North inscription to Charlotte Laing.
