Part of The Chapter House, this building dates from the 15th to 16th century and has undergone alterations. It stands three storeys high with a plastered timber frame and a gabled front, topped by an old tile roof. The first floor features one flush framed window with glazing bars, while the ground floor has two modern leaded casements and a door. This property is part of a significant group that includes Nos 1 to 13 on the east side of St John's Street.
