Description

This is a timber-framed and plastered building located on the north side of Prentice Street in Lavenham. It likely dates to the 15th and 16th centuries, although it has been significantly altered. The upper storey retains exposed timber framing, while the ground storey has been built out and plastered. The roof is tiled. The building has two storeys and a four-window front: the upper windows are leaded casements, some of which are original, while the ground floor windows are modern casements. A large, square chimney stack is located on the ridge of the roof.
