No 2 Prentice Street is a timber-framed and plastered building located on the north side of Prentice Street in Lavenham. It likely dates back to the 16th century but has undergone significant alterations in the 19th century and has been renovated. The roof is tiled and features a ridge chimney stack on the cross wing. The building has two storeys, and the windows are modern casements with leaded lights. The gables of both the main block and the cross wing have 19th-century cut and shaped bargeboards.
