Description

40 Prentice Street is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century but was refronted in the early to mid-19th century using red and gault brick. The roof is tiled. The front features corner pilasters and a raised brick band between the two storeys. It has two storeys and a two-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The central doorway includes a rectangular fanlight. The ground storey windows and doorway are adorned with stuccoed lintels. There is a central ridge chimney stack.
