Description

No 1 High Street is a timber-framed and plastered building that dates back to medieval times but was refronted in 18th-century red brick. It has two storeys and features a three-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames. At the north end, there is a small 19th-century shop front. The roof is double-pitched and tiled, with an external end chimney stack located at the south end. Additionally, there is a single-storeyed modern lean-to addition on the south side.
