Description

The Swan Hotel is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 15th to 16th century, now part of the Swan Hotel. It has been restored and altered, featuring a tiled roof. The timber-framing is visible on the front of the building, which has two storeys. The upper storey jetties out over the entire front, supported by exposed joists and featuring remains of brackets with moulded capitals and shafts. There are three modern restored leaded casement windows. At the south end, there is a restored 4-centred arched doorway with a boarded door, and at the north end, there is a former cart entrance.
