Description

No. 13 Stone Street is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th to 17th century, with alterations from the 18th century and later. The north end features a cross wing that shows signs of a previously jettied upper storey on the west end. The building has two storeys, and the north front has been renovated, displaying a two-window range of modern casement windows and a central door. The main block has casement windows on the upper storey, while the ground storey has been built out, previously serving as a shop front. At the south end, there is a later gabled wing, partly faced with painted brick, which includes a large garage entrance. The roofs are tiled, and there is a tall square chimney stack on the main block.
