Description
Kennel Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It features a Flemish bond brick facade set against flint and chalk, topped with a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of three bays. It has a lobby entry plan, with the main living room located to the right and an inner room, along with a staircase that was originally positioned at the rear of the stack. Attached to the right is a weatherboarded framed outbuilding, which sits under the hip of the roof and extends beyond the original service room. The cottage has a boarded door and timber windows with three and four lights, some of which still have early leading. The roof is half hipped to the left.
