ST 85 NW FRESHFORD C.P. IFORD (inset ST 75 NE) Christ statue, 5 yards 5/40 south-east of Iford Manor G.V. II

Column supporting half figure. Possibly C13th. Column of freestone, approximately 12' high; decorative capital carved with foliage. The column supports a half-figure of Christ in the act of blessing. One of Peto's many architectural and sculptural fragments collected from the Continent and re-sited in the house or garden of Iford Manor.
