Description
Round Windows is a detached cottage built around 1800. It features limestone ashlar construction and a thatched roof with a half-hip on the left side and brick stacks at the gable ends. The cottage is single storey and has two windows. The central entrance is a planked door with a fanlight, set within a semi-circular headed architrave that includes a keystone and impost. There are large keyed oculi on either side of the door. The right side has a single casement window on the ground floor and in the attic, while the left side has a two-light casement window on the ground floor. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear. The interior was not accessible during the survey in January 1986, but it is reported to have an open fireplace with a timber lintel on stone jambs, a planked door, and stairs with stick balusters.
