Description
Two monuments are located in the churchyard, between 1 and 6 metres south of the Church of St Nicholas. These are two chest tombs from the late 18th century. The southern tomb is dedicated to the Rebbeck family, featuring a moulded plinth, two oval fielded panels, pilasters with scrolled carving, and a moulded cornice on its weathered top. The east end panel includes a shield and bears an inscription for Elizabeth Rebbeck, who died in 1760. The northern tomb is for the Frances family and also has a moulded plinth, with two shield panels on the main sides, moulded pilasters, and a moulded cornice on its flat top.
