Description

Nos. 8 and 9, St Margaret’s Place are probably late 17th century cottages. They are built of coursed rubble with a modern pantile roof and feature two plain gables facing the front. No. 8 is three storeys high and has two windows with later sash windows in stone surrounds containing centre mullions. A later sash window sits within the reveals of the ground floor, and there is a right-hand panelled door. No. 9 is similar in design, but with a left-hand glazed door. Nos. 8 and 9, along with the other listed buildings on St Margaret’s Place, form a group.
