Description
Number 6 St Margaret's Place is a 17th-century building with later alterations. It is constructed from coursed rubble and has modern pantiles on the roof. The building features two plain gables at the front and is two storeys tall with attics in the gables. There are two windows in the attics, which are later wood casements, and on the first floor, there are paired sashes with original drip moulds. The ground floor has one similar window and two later sashes set within stone architraves. The central entrance has an architrave door opening with a moulded flat stone hood supported by brackets. The door is panelled and includes an oblong fanlight with "Gothic" glazing. Number 6 is part of a group that includes Nos 34 St Margaret's Hill and all the listed buildings in St Margaret's Place.
