Description
Marishes, located at No 34 on St Margaret's Hill, is a 18th-century building featuring three storeys constructed of ashlar stone. The roof is stone-tiled and consists of three hipped sections. It has a cornice and a parapet, and there are five windows with sash frames that have slightly projecting surrounds and thick glazing bars. The central doorway is square-headed and topped with a flat moulded hood supported by cut stone brackets. The door itself is a six-panel design, with the upper two panels being glazed. Marishes is part of a group of listed buildings in St Margarets Place.
