Description
This is a 17th-century building located on St Margaret's Place. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone-tiled roof and features two gabled ends. The upper level has attic windows with a wooden frame. The ground floor has two 3-light stone mullioned casement windows, while the first floor windows are casements under wooden lintels. A square-headed central doorway is topped with a semi-circular hollow stone hood supported by scrolled stone brackets, and it has a 6-panelled door. Weathered string courses are visible at the first and second floor levels. This building is part of a group which includes Nos 34 St Margarets Hill and the other listed buildings on St Margaret's Place.
