1/103 No 64 (Gardener's Cottage), with attached garden walls

Gardener's cottage. 1830s, probably for James Morrison. Limestone ashlar front, hipped Welsh slate roof, gable end brick stacks. Two-storey, 3-window. Central half-glazed door in moulded stone architrave with cornice, 9-pane sash either side. First floor has three 6-pane sashes, corniced blocked course to shallow pitched roof. To right is English garden wall bond brick 2-storey extension with casements and slate roof, attached to either side of cottage are English garden wall bond brick walls with stone coping and flues for heating the walls for growing apricots etc. Rear has 6-pane sash to first floor, planked door and casement to brick extension. Interior has 6-panelled doors in moulded architraves, cupboard with egg and dart moulded panels and H-hinges in sitting room, probably reset and from Fonthill Splendens.
