Description
The Newman monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints, approximately 7 metres south-east of the chancel. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a hipped table and a moulded base, with fielded panelled sides that have rounded corners and panelled pilasters. It commemorates John Newman, who died in 1818, and his wife May, who died in 1805.
