Description
Little Salterton is a farmhouse dating from the mid 18th century, with alterations and extensions made in the late 18th century. The earlier western block is constructed of diaper brick and features a tiled roof, while the parallel later block is made of brick laced with flint, also with a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The west facade includes a plat band and mid 20th century metal windows, along with lean-to buttresses at the ground floor. There is a large diamond-shaped panel that likely originally had a painted inscription. The east block was also refenestrated in the mid 20th century and now has a glazed door leading to the garden. The eaves are brick with dentils, and the entrance is located in the lean-to on the left end, with the gable being tile hung.
