Description

The Nalder Monument is an early 19th-century chest tomb located 15 meters south of the south aisle of the Church of St James on Avebury High Street. It is made of limestone and features a moulded table with a hipped center and a chamfered base. The side panels are plain. The tomb commemorates Elizabeth Bannister, who died in 1813, and Thomas Nalder.
