Description

The Nalder Memorial is a chest tomb located about 0.5 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St. Michael in Melksham. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a plinth and oval panels on the main sides, which are flanked by fluted panels. The corners are decorated with stylised floral designs, and it has a cornice at the weathered top. This memorial commemorates Thomas Nalder, who died in 1827.
