Description

Nos 21 and 22 are two cottages built in one block, dating from the 17th century and early 19th century. They feature brick cladding over a timber frame and have a thatched roof. The cottages are two storeys high; No 22 has one bay with a lateral entrance, while No 21, a later addition, has two bays with a central entrance. Both cottages have timber doors with glazed panels and two- and three-light timber windows with segmental heads. No 21 includes a blue brick band and shows evidence of a queen strut roof in the gable. The thatched roof is half-hipped and peaks to the right, with a stack located on the party wall.
