Description
No 12 and No 13 are two cottages located in Little Bedwyn, dating from the 17th century and 1726, as indicated by the datestone on the gable. The cottages are constructed of brick and flint, with 18th-century brickwork. They feature a thatched roof and are single-storey with an attic.
No 13, which is on the right, has 1½ bays and is part of a timber-framed cottage. It has a boarded door located laterally to the bay, along with a 20th-century glazed porch and timber windows. No 12, on the left, has a door in the gable with the datestone above it. This cottage also has a plat band and timber casement windows with segmental heads. The roof extends down over a contemporary outshut made of brick and laced flint. The datestone displays the initials W I H.
