Description

Stable Cottage is an early 19th-century animal house located in Great Bedwyn on Forest Hill. The building is constructed of brick and features a tiled roof. It consists of one bay and is aligned along the road. There is a central opening that is of later date, with flanking windows that are slatted and have glazed fanlights set within a segmental head. The eaves are dentilled, and the roof is half-hipped. Stable Cottage has group value with the nearby cow houses, which it is separated from by a field gate.
