Description

No. 3 Back Lane is a cottage in a row, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. The building is single-storey with an attic and consists of 2 and a half bays. There is a central boarded door that has a canopy above it. A stack is located in the left bay, and the upper front wall has been rebuilt. The cottage has two-light paned windows with segmental heads, and there is a three-light window above the wall plate at attic level. The thatch extends over both dormers.
