Description
Common Farm Barn is a barn built in 1843. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. The barn features five bays with a central midstrey and lean-to stores located in the re-entrant angles, which now have partly glazed roofs. There is a cart entrance that has a three-centred brick arch with a stone key. The gable includes a date stone, an owl hole, and a ledge above. Slit vents and square openings are present in the gable of the barn. The parapets are raised and coped, featuring moulded stone kneelers. Inside, there are four low pitched scissor trusses supporting two purlins.
