Description
South Pavenhill Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of limestone rubble with a slate roof, and features a rear wing made of diaper brick with a stone slate roof. The main house has two storeys and four bays, with a one-storey and attic two-bay lower section to the right and a rear wing. There is a 19th-century gabled brick porch attached to the fourth bay of the main block. The windows are timber casements, with those on the ground floor set under segmental arches. An external stack with offsets is located on the left gable, and there are two stacks on the right section. The rear wing features 16-pane sash windows with gauged flat brick arches and stone keys, along with a projecting stone oven and a brick stack above it. Additionally, there are two gabled dormers.
