Description

The granary at South Pavenhill Farm dates from 1765 and is constructed of diaper brick with a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and is raised on segmental arches supported by brick piers with capstones. The building features a timber door and ventilation windows. A date stone in the gable displays the initials TP and the year 1765, indicating it was built by Thomas Plummer. This granary is part of a group of mid-18th century farm buildings that also includes the stables and the rear wing of the farmhouse.
