Description

Red Lodge Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating to 1806, as indicated by a datestone above the door. It is constructed of diaper brick with a stone slate roof. The main block is two storeys and an attic, with five bays and three windows, exhibiting a symmetrical design for the left three bays. A hipped brick porch is attached, centrally positioned to provide access. The windows are large timber casements with exposed timber lintels. Stacks are located at either end of the building. A contemporary extension, one or two bays wide and with a quarter-hipped roof, adjoins the right side, below the stack. Two hipped dormers are present in the roof.
