The milestone at Calowe Hill, located on the south side of the B4040 road, dates back to the 18th century. It is made of sarsen stone and features a diagonal section shaft that tapers towards a rounded top, which has a slight groove. The inscription, although now barely legible, reads "Cricklade 4, Malmesbury 8."
