Description

The Ingram monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 3 meters south of the nave of the Church of St Peter in Upton Lovell. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and has two fielded panels with cut-away quadrant corners. It is adorned with reeded corner pilasters and a moulded weathered top. The inscription commemorates Sarah Ann Ingram, who died in 1840.
