Description

The walls, railings, and gate on the south, west, and north sides of Lovel House date from the early 19th century. They consist of coursed rubble stone dwarf walls topped with spear head cast-iron railings at the south front of the house. There is a matching cast-iron gate with anthemion-decorated piers located opposite the front door. Attached to the left is a two-metre high rubble stone wall, which features brick bands and flush piers. This wall curves to the west boundary and continues along the north boundary of the garden, reaching up to the east boundary.
