Description
The Cottage is a detached house dating from the 17th century, which was rebuilt in the 18th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork with timber framing retained at the rear and has a tiled roof with brick stacks. The building is two stories high and has five windows. There is a planked door located to the left of the center, set within a tiled rustic porch, with a 2-light casement window on either side and a steel casement window to the right. On the first floor, there are five 2-light casement windows, two of which are steel. The right side of the house is finished in Flemish garden wall bond. At the rear, there are planked doors to the left, a central extension that is tiled-hung with a double hipped roof, and to the right, a timber-framed wall with 2-light casement windows. Inside, the house features planked doors and chamfered beams.
