Description
Fletchers is a detached house built in the late 18th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a tiled roof with brick stacks. The house is two rooms deep and has a two-span hipped roof over the rear. It is two stories high with a two-window front. The central entrance has a six-panelled door set within a 20th-century porch, with a 16-pane flush sash window on either side. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sash windows and the initials "I.H." are displayed in vitrified headers above the door. The eaves cornice is toothed. The left side of the house has two small metal casements on the ground floor, while the right side features a single casement. The rear is constructed of English bond brick with some reused limestone in the lower courses. It has a central glazed door, with a two-light casement window to the left and a three-light casement to the right on the ground floor, and three two-light casements on the first floor. Inside, the ceilings are lower at the rear, and there is an eared fireplace in the front room on the left.
