Description

The Hibbard monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard east of the tower of the Church of St. Michael in Coombe Bissett. It dates from the late 17th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a plinth, plain side and end panels, and a chamfered flat top that displays good lettering. It commemorates John Hibbard, who died in 1771.
