Description

This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is located 80 metres south of the Cadley Road junction on the east side of Old Salisbury Road in Collingbourne Ducis. It is made of sandstone and features a rectangular pillar topped with a weathered gabled design. The milestone has an incised inscription that reads "Salisbury 17," with the number seven overcut with the figure six.
