Description

Bourne Cottage is a cottage from the 18th century, which was extended in the 19th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The right two bays are part of the original 18th-century structure, which includes an off-centre boarded door and 19th-century timber casement windows, with panes on the upper floor. The thatch has been cut out over the upper windows. The left extension is similar in style and is likely a rebuild of a single-storey outbuilding from the 18th century, located beyond the main stack. There is also a 20th-century flat-roofed extension at the rear.
