Description

Mount Orleans Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse located on the east side of Old Salisbury Road in Collingbourne Ducis. The building is constructed of yellow brick, rendered at the front, and features a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has a three-bay block with a short forward wing in the central bay, along with an asymmetrical rear wing. The entrance is situated in an open porch at the left re-entrant angle at the rear. The windows are stone-mullioned and transomed, including a two-storey canted bay in the gabled central wing, and they feature patterned iron glazing. The farmhouse also has wavy barge boards and stacks with diagonally set brick flues.
