Description
Nos 87 and 88 High Street are a pair of cottages, now used as an office, dating from the late 18th century. They are built of dressed limestone and feature a Welsh slate roof with gable end brick stacks. The building is two stories high and has three windows across the front. There is a planked door set within a central wooden tent porch, with a three-light leaded casement window on either side. On the first floor, there are three-light leaded casement windows flanking a central two-light casement window. At the rear, there is a two-story brick extension added in the 20th century. Inside, the entrance hall is laid with flagstones, and there are six-panelled doors that lead to the former cottages.
