Description
Nos 10 and 11 Rise End are a pair of cottages dating from around 1800. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and feature a Welsh slate roof. The roof has gritstone coped gables with kneelers and includes a single ridge and two gable brick stacks. The cottages have flush gritstone quoins and two doorways with flush gritstone surrounds, each fitted with half glazed doors. To the left, there is a single two-light casement window, and to the right, there are two similar windows. Above these, there are three two-light casement windows, and above again, three more two-light casement windows, all with flush gritstone surrounds.
