Description
Stourton Post Office and Stores is a cottage and shop located at the end of a row, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone and has a Welsh slate roof, which was formerly thatched. There is a large external stone and brick stack on the right side of the building. The structure is two stories high and features three windows. The central entrance consists of a planked door set within a wooden tent porch, with a three-light leaded casement window on either side. On the first floor, there are three-light leaded casement windows flanking a two-light leaded casement window that has a quadrant stay. At the rear, there is a rubble stone wing with a lower tiled hipped roof, which includes two-light and three-light casements.
