Description

No. 89 High Street is a cottage located at the end of a row, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features a Welsh slate roof, with an external stone and brick stack on the left side. The cottage is two stories high and has three windows. The central entrance is a planked door set within a wooden tent porch, with a three-light casement window on either side. On the first floor, there are three-light leaded casement windows flanking a two-light casement window, all equipped with quadrant stays. At the rear, there is a rubble stone range with a lower roof. This cottage is very similar to the nearby Post Office, contributing to a picturesque group alongside Nos. 87 and 88.
