Description
Cleverton Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed rubble, featuring flush rusticated dressed stone quoins, timber lintels, and a stone slate roof with end stacks—one of ashlar and the other of brick. The building has an L-shaped plan with two stories and an attic, presenting a three-window south front and a rear service range. The windows on the ground floor are 16-pane sashes, while the upper floor has 12-pane sashes. There are two hipped dormers, each with two-light small pane casements. The central doorway is adorned with a pedimented wooden hood and latticework jambs, leading to a plank door that features a semi-circular spoked fanlight.
