Description

Rectory Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of coursed and squared lias rubble, with prominent freestone quoins. It features a double Roman tile roof with coped verges and end brick stacks. The building has a symmetrical entrance front that is positioned at right angles to the road. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays, each with 12-pane sash windows set in edge-moulded freestone architraves that include a small emphasised keystone. The central door opening is framed by a similarly moulded surround and contains a six-panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed. Above the door, there is a flat wooden hood supported by console brackets.
