Description

Middle Farmhouse is a farmhouse with late 18th century exterior features, although its core is likely older. It is constructed of coursed and squared lias rubble with dressed freestone quoins, and has a tile roof with coped verges. The building has end ashlar stacks with moulded caps and an additional brick stack at the rear. The farmhouse is L-shaped, two storeys high, and consists of four bays. It features 12-pane sash windows set in moulded stone architraves. The door opening is located in the third bay and is framed by a similarly moulded surround, topped with a triangular pediment on fluted console brackets, leading to a panelled door.
