Description
Chink Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse situated on the north side of Cresswell Lane, in Lea, near Cleverton. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with flush rusticated dressed stone quoins. Window dressings are blocked stone, and the roof is hipped with Welsh slate, featuring rebuilt stone ridge stacks. The farmhouse has a rectangular plan and a three-window, two-storey south front. The windows are predominantly 16-pane sashes, with the central upper window being a 12-pane sash. The central doorway has a flat stone hood supported by brackets, leading to a six-panel door with the top two panels glazed.
