Description
Chiverlins Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse with an earlier core, located on Derriad's Lane. The building is constructed of rubble stone, rough rendered, and features a stone-tiled roof with ashlar corniced end wall stacks. It is two stories high and has a four-window range. On the first floor, there are four 12-pane sash windows set in raised moulded stone surrounds, one of which has a replaced lintel. The ground floor has a door located in an ashlar pedimented projecting porch, both of which have moulded doorcases that match the upper window mouldings. To the left of the door, there is a three-light chamfered flush stone-mullion window, and to the right, there are two two-light cyma-moulded flush stone-mullion windows. At the rear, there is a central projecting wing with two moulded window surrounds, one containing a sash window and the other blocked, along with lean-to additions on each side.
